At this year’s British Thoracic Society (BTS) Winter Meeting, Aquilant will be demonstrating Fujifilm’s latest Bronchoscopy range. Equipped with a high resolution Super CCD image sensor, the range supports advanced diagnosis and characterisation of bronchial lesions, and facilitates therapy delivery via a large 2.8mm channel.

In addition, the range offers improved handling characteristics, providing the user with smooth insertion and increased suction power, helping to maintain a clear view especially during bleeding. Durability has also been improved with a stronger channel design facilitating instrument use. Excellent angulation capability (which can reach an up angle of 210˚) improves the bronchoscope’s manoeuvrability, especially to the upper lobe bronchus. Finally, a larger working channel of 2.8mm enables clinicians to use various therapeutic devices.
